Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 21, 2026

1. Who we are

Worn provides personalized wardrobe, styling, shopping, avatar, and virtual try-on services. In this Privacy Policy, "Worn," "we," "our," and "us" refer to the operator of the Worn website, iOS application, and related services.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, when we share it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we collect

We collect information that you provide, information created when you use Worn, and limited technical information about your device and use of the Service.

Account and eligibility information

We may collect your name, email address, date of birth, gender selection, sign-in method, and records of the permissions and legal terms you accept. Authentication credentials are managed through Supabase Auth. We use date of birth to apply Worn's minimum-age requirement and support age-appropriate experiences. For internal product analytics, Worn may convert a date of birth into a broad age range and use the gender selection you provided. Analytics providers do not receive your exact date of birth, name, email address, city, measurements, photos, journal entries, or AI chat text for this purpose. Worn disables IP-based geographic enrichment for its client analytics and uses only the device locale's broad region code for aggregate regional reporting.

Style profile information

We collect the answers and preferences you provide during onboarding and while using Worn. This may include your color preferences, style preferences, body type, body measurements, lifestyle, archetype, shopping preferences, and other information you choose to add to your style profile.

Wardrobe and image information

We collect clothing photos, clothing details, outfit photos, and related information that you choose to upload. This can include item type, brand, color, size, fit, condition, purchase information, and wardrobe notes.

Avatar and virtual try-on information

If you use avatar or virtual try-on features, we collect the face photos, body photos, measurements, and clothing images you choose to provide. We may create visual attributes, avatar images, and virtual try-on images from that information. Worn uses this information to provide styling and image features. Worn does not use it to identify or authenticate you.

AI stylist and activity information

We collect messages you send to Worn's AI stylist, your styling requests, generated outfits, saved looks, wishlist items, feedback, likes, dislikes, and other preferences you provide. We use this information to answer your requests and personalize future recommendations.

Calendar information

If you give calendar permission, Worn may read selected information about upcoming events, including event titles, dates, times, all-day status, and locations. Worn uses this information to suggest occasion-appropriate outfits. Calendar access is optional and can be disabled in your device settings.

Location and weather information

If you give location permission, Worn may use your current coordinates or city-level location to provide local weather and weather-aware styling. Location access is optional and is not used for advertising.

Camera and photo access

Worn requests camera or photo access only when you choose to capture or select an image. Selected images may be uploaded to Worn's servers for storage, analysis, avatar creation, virtual try-on, or another feature that you request. Worn does not access your camera or photo library for advertising.

Purchase and subscription information

Payments are processed by Apple for iOS purchases and by Stripe for eligible web purchases. Worn may receive your subscription product, purchase status, trial status, renewal status, cancellation status, and expiration status from Apple, Stripe, or RevenueCat. Worn does not receive your full payment card number.

Device, usage, and diagnostic information

We may collect your IP address, device type, operating system, app version, browser type, screens and features used, purchase-flow events, crash reports, error messages, performance information, and related technical details. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Worn.

Notifications and communications

If you enable push notifications, we collect a device token so that we can deliver them. If you contact support or join a mailing list, we collect the information you send and your communication preferences.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Confirm account eligibility.
  • Build and update your personal style profile.
  • Organize and analyze your wardrobe.
  • Provide outfit recommendations, styling advice, shopping suggestions, avatars, and virtual try-on images.
  • Respond to messages sent to Worn's AI stylist.
  • Use optional calendar, location, and weather context when you request relevant styling features.
  • Process purchases and manage subscription access.
  • Send account, security, billing, support, and other service messages.
  • Send product updates and new-drop marketing messages only while the separate optional marketing checkbox is selected. You can uncheck it before creating your account and unsubscribe at any time.
  • Measure product use and aggregated audience demographics, diagnose technical problems, prevent fraud, and protect the Service.
  • Improve existing features and develop new ones.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Third-party AI processing

Worn uses third-party AI providers to deliver certain features. Signup links directly to this section, and acceptance of Worn's Terms and Privacy Policy includes acknowledgement of the AI processing described here before an account is created.

Depending on the feature you choose to use, Worn may share photos, measurements, wardrobe details, style-profile information, calendar styling context, messages, and related instructions with the following providers:

  • Anthropic, including Claude, for style analysis, wardrobe analysis, image analysis, outfit generation, and AI stylist responses.
  • OpenAI for image generation, image editing, and certain color-analysis features.
  • Replicate for avatar generation, virtual try-on, background removal, and related image processing.

Worn sends only the information reasonably needed to perform the feature you request. Worn does not send every category of information to every AI provider. Worn does not sell this information to the AI providers.

You may withdraw your permission for future third-party AI processing by contacting hello@lookworn.com. Withdrawing permission will prevent you from using features that require third-party AI processing. It will not undo processing that took place before your withdrawal. You may also request deletion of your Worn account and associated information.

5. Other service providers

Worn uses service providers to operate the Service. Depending on how you use Worn, these providers may process the following information:

  • Supabase provides account authentication, databases, and file storage.
  • Apple provides Sign in with Apple, iOS purchases, push notifications, and platform services.
  • Google provides Google sign-in when you choose that option.
  • Stripe processes eligible web payments.
  • RevenueCat manages subscription status across supported platforms.

  • Railway hosts parts of Worn's backend services.

We require service providers that process personal information for Worn to protect it consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable law, and to use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Worn or others, to investigate fraud or security issues, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. If ownership of Worn changes, personal information may be transferred subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy that provides equivalent protection.

6. What we do not do

Worn does not sell or rent your personal information.

Worn does not use advertising identifiers or track your activity across other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising.

Worn does not use uploaded face or body images to identify or authenticate you.

7. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Worn processes personal information based on one or more of the following:

  • Your consent or acknowledgement, including permission for optional device access, marketing, and the third-party AI processing disclosed during signup.
  • Performance of our contract with you, including providing the Service and managing your account or subscription.
  • Our legitimate interests, including securing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving Worn, when those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Compliance with legal obligations.

You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.

8. Data retention

We retain account information and user content while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service. We may keep certain records for longer when needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or security purposes.

When you delete your account, Worn begins deleting user-owned records and private media from active systems. Limited records may remain when required for the reasons listed above. Residual copies may remain in protected backups until those backups are deleted through ordinary rotation.

Deleting your Worn account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. Apple subscriptions must be canceled through Apple's subscription-management settings.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information Worn holds about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated information.
  • Request a portable copy of your information.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent for future processing.
  • Opt out of marketing communications.
  • Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request where applicable.

You can change camera, photo, calendar, location, and notification permissions in your device settings. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message.

To make a privacy request or withdraw AI-processing consent, email hello@lookworn.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Security

Worn uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These safeguards include encrypted network connections, access controls, and secure authentication services. No system can guarantee complete security.

11. International data transfers

Worn and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live. Where required, Worn uses appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.

12. Children's privacy

Worn is intended for people age 13 and older. Worn does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we will take steps to block the account and delete the child's personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to Worn, contact hello@lookworn.com.

Some countries or regions require a higher minimum age or parental permission. Worn applies those requirements where applicable.

13. United States state privacy rights

Residents of California and certain other states may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain uses or disclosures. Worn does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Worn will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. To submit a request, email hello@lookworn.com.

14. European and United Kingdom privacy rights

If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a portable copy of your information, and to object to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

To exercise a right, email hello@lookworn.com.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Worn changes. We will update the date at the top of the Policy. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice where required.

We will request new permission before using personal information for a materially different purpose when consent is required.
